Orange Foundation provides financial support for the Mama-Pikin Foundation’s Support for Pregnant Women program in multiple districts in Sierra Leone. From 14 to 16 March 2025, officials from Orange Foundation joined MPF to visit pregnant women in three of their supported healthcare facilities—Masongbo, Yengema, and Hanga Health Centers.

During the visit, 390 pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers received healthcare and participated in the Belleh Uman Bato Group peer support activities, including maternal nutrition education, food demonstrations, and cooking sessions. All pregnant women in the program also receive a Delivery Bucket (bucket, lappa, soap & plastic to cover the delivery surface), plus transportation assistance when they are in labor.

These programs encourage women to seek prenatal care and deliver safely in a health facility instead of at home.
