The Mama-Pikin Foundation’s Midwifery Officer, Jeneba Foday, participated in a training session organized by the Science for Africa Foundation, held on July 8th and 9th, 2025, at the Gem Forest Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. This training focused on critical gynecological conditions, including Heavy Menstrual Bleeding, Endometriosis, and Menopause, which significantly impact women in low- and middle-income countries. Approximately 45 experts from Africa and the United States convened for this event, engaging in discussions surrounding the local challenges associated with diagnosis and treatment. Participants collaborated to develop innovative solutions through research and policy advocacy, with the objective of linking women’s health issues to broader initiatives concerning innovation and systemic change.
