Training Health Workers in Sierra Leone to Combat Maternal Deaths from Postpartum Hemorrhage

Our nurses, midwives, and doctors are working hard to decrease maternal deaths in Sierra Leone! This week, The Mama-Pikin Foundation supported the Ministry of Health to train 54 trainers who will then train health workers across the country to use the new medications Heat-Stable Carbetocin & Tranexamic Acid to prevent and treat postpartum hemorrhage.
